Annotation:	General technological and business specific features of the electric-power industry operation are determined; its specific character in the national economy of Ukraine is identified. A single criterion of public efficiency of electric-power industry is justified. The relationship between specific particularities of the electric-power industry operation and the types of its public efficiency in sphere of production, distribution, exchange and consumptions is determined with the help of this criterion.
