| Annotation: | Methods. The results were obtained by applying the following methods: abstraction and grouping – for determining the factors influencing the development of the tourism industry in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in particular socio-economic, cultural and infrastructure factors; grouping – for forming the classification of tourism resources by their types; generalization – for determining the trends in tourism development in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the pre-war and post-war periods, in particular, identifying changes in demand, infrastructure development and adaptation of tourism products to new social and economic conditions. Results. Development of tourism is an important component of the economic and cultural growth of the Dnipropetrovsk region, which has significant potential due to its natural resources and rich cultural heritage was established. It is studied that the activities of tourism entities in the region gradually intensified before the war, which had a positive impact on the development of tourism infrastructure, increasing the availability of services and creating new opportunities for tourists. The trends in occupancy rates and average length of stay, which indicate fluctuations in demand, are analyzed. It is revealed that, although the number of collective accommodation facilities is decreasing, the region retains a certain share of tourist accommodation in the overall picture of tourism activity in Ukraine. Attention is focused on the fact that for effective development it is necessary to attract investments and more actively implement innovative approaches that must be adapted to the new challenges of the post-war period. Novelty. The scientific novelty lies in the comprehensive analysis of the state of the tourism industry of the Dnipropetrovsk region before the war and the identification of the main trends and factors that influenced its development. Attention is paid to the study of the development of tourism infrastructure, which takes into account new challenges and opportunities arising after hostilities, which allows the formulation of effective strategies to stimulate the economic growth of the region through the development of tourism as an important element of post-war recovery. Practical value. The study can serve as a basis for developing strategic plans for the development of tourism in the Dnipropetrovsk region, attracting investments and creating competitive tourism products that will contribute to economic growth and development of the region. |
