Annotation: | Methods. This study employed an interdisciplinary approach that integrates theoretical foundations of the digital economy with an analysis of its practical impact on global economic processes. The authors utilized methods of analysis and synthesis, content analysis of contemporary literature, and statistical assessments based on real indicators, such as GDP growth in highly digitalized countries and evaluation of investment efficiency in digital transformation. The analysis is complemented by examples from sectors such as FinTech, cryptocurrencies, innovation, logistics, the labor market, and e-commerce, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the multifaceted influence of digitalization on various economic domains. Results. The digital economy significantly transforms the structure of modern economic processes. Key transformations were identified, including production automation, development of financial technologies (FinTech, cryptocurrencies), new employment models (remote work, digital professions), expansion of e-commerce, and the growing importance of personalized consumer engagement. Critical challenges were also outlined, such as digital inequality, cybersecurity threats, and the need for reforming labor relations. The findings confirm that effective implementation of digital technologies can ensure sustainable growth of national and global markets. Novelty. For the first time, this article systematizes and summarizes specific quantitative and qualitative indicators of the digital economy's impact on modern economic processes, drawing on both domestic and international experiences. A comprehensive analytical approach is proposed for assessing the development of FinTech, cryptocurrencies, automation, digital professions, the educational technology market, and e-commerce. The article also highlights the influence of the digital economy not only on business and production but also on socio-economic aspects, including inequality in access to technologies, labor relations reform, and privacy risks. Practical value. The results can be used in the development of national digital transformation strategies, modernization of educational programs for training specialists in digital technologies, and formulation of regulatory policies on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital currencies. Specific measures are proposed to mitigate key digitalization risks, including cybersecurity threats, job losses due to automation, and digital inequality. This provides employers, government institutions, and academia with tools for managing change in the context of digital transformation. |
