Annotation: | Methods. The results were obtained with the application of the following methods: theoretical analysis and system approach – when studying the process of change management at enterprises. The main attention was paid to the analysis of the existing models of change management, as well as to the consideration of the experience of world-famous companies in order to evaluate the practical application of these models. An important element of the research was the study of factors affecting the adaptive potential of enterprises and tools that contribute to effective adaptation through changes. Results. The variability of the definition of «change management» by various economists was analyzed. It has been established that change management is a key tool for increasing the adaptive capacity of enterprises. Businesses that support a culture of change are more successful in adapting to it in the marketplace. The experience of implementing changes in well-known foreign companies was analyzed and it was found that successful change management requires a well-coordinated approach. Novelty. The author's definition of the definition of change management is proposed. The concept of change management is proposed as a tool for the process of forming the adaptive capacity of the enterprise. In contrast to classical concepts, change management is not considered as a temporary measure, but as a permanent process that allows the business entity to quickly respond to external and internal factors of influence. Practical value. The recommendations presented in the work on planning changes, overcoming resistance and evaluating their effectiveness can be implemented in practice to optimize business processes of enterprises of any form of ownership, which is especially relevant in conditions of instability, when the ability to adapt becomes an important competitive advantage. |
