Annotation:	The overview of the basic theoretical and methodological approaches to the estimation of sustainability of the entrprises of paper industry is given. The index ‘return rate of the logistic system’ is recommended. Integral economic sustainability estimation index, which considers logistic costs unlike the existing indexes, is improved.
