| Title: | International cooperation in the field of prevention and combating economic crime: public administration aspect |

| Annotation: | Methods. The results were obtained through the use of methods: comparative analysis – in the study of international treaties on the extradition of criminals; theoretical generalization and systems analysis – in the study of areas of international cooperation in law enforcement, economic and mathematical modeling – in the formation of a classification model of international cooperation in the field of prevention and combating economic crime. Results. The specifics of international cooperation in the field of prevention and counteraction to economic crime are determined by establishing the specific features of such interaction and on this basis the development of a classification model. The classification model provides for the identification of types of international cooperation on the following classification grounds: by areas (presentation, educational, technical and other types of assistance, direct interaction); by forms of manifestation (through the establishment of information and communication links, through contractual relations, through the implementation of joint law enforcement activities); by subjects (through the creation of international law enforcement organizations (global, regional), interdepartmental cooperation (departmental, through international organizations); by the activities of individuals (liaison officers, personal contacts). In general, certain provisions allow to form a complex of interaction of the domestic law enforcement system with similar systems of other countries, which increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes of preventing and combating economic crime. Novelty. In the course of studying a set of international documents and official websites of international organizations, including police international organizations, a classification model of international cooperation in the field of prevention and combating economic crime was proposed. Practical value. It is proposed to use the following types of international cooperation in the field of prevention and combating economic crime in accordance with the form of manifestation: cooperation agreement, exchange of information, implementation of joint law enforcement measures. |
