Title:Formation of key components of ensuring competitiveness of the business model of aviation enterprises
Author:Poberezhna Z. M., National Aviation University
Annotation:Methods. The results are obtained through the use of methods: comparative analysis – in the study of the main components of the impact on the business model of the enterprise; theoretical generalization and systems analysis – in the study of directions of formation and ensuring the competitiveness of the enterprise; classification – in the formation of key components to ensure the competitiveness of the business model of an aviation enterprise. Results. Based on the study of approaches to determining the essential content of the concept of competitiveness, it is established that there are currently three approaches to understanding it. The first considers the competitiveness of the enterprise as a relative characteristic of its activities in terms of interacting factors about competitive relations. The second emphasizes that the competitiveness of the enterprise is the ability to produce a competitive product. The third reveals the essence of the competitiveness of the enterprise through the ability to meet consumers’ specific needs compared to similar products. It is established that the business model of the enterprise is a source of creating a competitive advantage of an aviation enterprise due to the variation of such components of the value chain as: costs and differentiation of services. Novelty. The author identifies and characterizes the components that affect the competitiveness of the business model of the aviation enterprise, which are divided into internal and external. The internal ones include organizational, financial, marketing, production factors, personnel and competitiveness of works and services of an aviation enterprise. The external ones, which in author’s opinion are the most influential, are state regulation and barriers to entry into the industry. Practical value. The listed components are implemented in the classical theory of competitive advantages by M. Porter, on the basis of which the new structure of system of competitiveness of business model of aviation enterprise is received. In this model, along with competitive advantages and differentiation (innovations) of aviation enterprises, which make the first and second level, there are added the third level, and, accordingly, the fourth level – they are the tools, means, conditions, restrictions and mechanisms for forming the competitiveness of the business model. According to the author, four levels are sufficient to understand the whole process of ensuring the competitiveness of the business model of an aviation enterprise, because it directly relates to the level of its operating activities in modern business conditions.
