Annotation: | Metods. Methodological basis of the research is formed by the following methods: historical and logical – when establishing the stages of singling out of the economics as a self-sufficient sphere isolated from the influence of other social spheres in the scientific thought; general and special – when clarifying the specifics of economic and sociological approaches to the study of people's economic activity; analysis and synthesis – when studying the motivational component of economic activity; system approach – when representing the interconnectedness of spheres of social organization. Results. The main trends in the development of modern economic science are defined in the article. The trend of its gradual transition to the dominance of interdisciplinary methodology is indicated, which is primarily present in the institutional direction of economic thought. There are analyzed the areas of combination of economic and sociological approaches in the study of the behavior of economic entities, which take place in institutional analysis. The limitation of the use of sociological approaches in economic research is demonstrated, primarily due to their inability to describe the entire spectrum of human motivations to perform economic activity. Novelty. There has been demonstrated the prognostic significance of the combination of scientific achievements of not only sociology, but also social psychology, anthropology and psychobiology within the framework of the institutional theory, which allows establishing connections between a person's internal impulses to economic activity and the results of its implementation. Practical value. The results of the research are of an applied nature, as they allow to obtain an effective methodological approach, which opens up wide opportunities for researching the economic activity of people in all the interaction and interdependence of the components of the social organization. |
