Title:Evolution of project management concepts in the context of agile management in IT-organizations

Annotation:Methods. The scientific results were obtained using the following methods: structural and logical – when identifying the relationships between the definitions of the concept of «project activity» in the works of Ukrainian and foreign authors; the method of the general and specific – when correlating common and specific (single) aspects with the disclosure of conditions and factors that influenced their formation in the existing concepts of project management; graphical method – when presenting the ratio of the number of scientific publications on project management in different time periods. To search for publications, Google Academy and Scopus search algorithms were used, the search was carried out by keywords that were most often used in publications on the topic defined in the study. Results. Tendencies to an increase in the number of publications on project management during the studied period were revealed. The assumption of an increase in the number of publications devoted to the organization in the IT-sector, particularly based on the agile management methods, is confirmed. Novelty. An increase in the number of scientific publications devoted to the experience of applying agile management methods on the example of IT-sector organizations has been demonstrated. Practical value. This study demonstrates a significant change in project management as a field of knowledge in the context of consideration of theoretical approaches and the most successful practices of applying agile project management methods in IT-organizations.
