| Annotation: | Methods. The results are obtained through the use of a system of methods. The method of logical analysis allowed to build the logic of the study. The use of methods of structural analysis, grouping, decomposition and formalization allowed to justify the sequence of stages of implementation of the methodological approach to determine and compare the level of development of the leasing business in the United States and Ukraine. Statistical analysis methods were used to assess the dynamics of the impact of the volume of leasing services. The graphic method allowed to visualize the obtained research results. Results. The authors of the article conducted and substantiated the comparative characteristics of the leasing business in Ukraine and the United States. A detailed description of the dynamics of the volume of leasing transactions in the compared countries – the United States and Ukraine – was considered. To analyze the effectiveness of the leasing business in selected countries, the volume of leasing transactions by region was studied. The specifics of leasing business in Ukraine and the USA are highlighted. The dynamics of the Ukrainian market of leasing operations and the American one, respectively, is analyzed. To assess the effectiveness of the leasing business in Ukraine and the United States, a model of the relationship between the volume of leasing operations and macroeconomic indicators of comparable countries is developed. Based on the obtained results, a close connection between the world volume of leasing operations and the studied factors is highlighted. The main factors of success of leasing business development in the USA and problems and further prospects of leasing business development in Ukraine are highlighted. Novelty. A set of measures and methods for effective comparative characterization of the leasing business in the United States and Ukraine is proposed, which allowed to group the analyzed factors and highlight the main common and distinctive features in the United States and Ukraine. Practical value lies in the possibility of applying the developed methodological principles for assessing the development of the leasing business in Ukraine and the USA and other countries. |
