| Annotation: | Methods. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the works of leading domestic and foreign scientists, methodology and systemic principles of conducting comprehensive scientific research based on systemic, integrated and analytical approaches. The article envisages the sequential implementation of stages that allow identifying key aspects of the strategic development of a motor transport enterprise, analysing the impact of tools, factors and conditions on the efficiency of managing the development of enterprises in the motor transport industry and formulating scientifically sound recommendations. Results. The essence of the definition of ‘organisational and economic mechanism’ and a set of methods, principles and elements that ensure the effective functioning and development of an enterprise in the road transport industry are studied. The organisational and economic instruments that provide the components of the enterprise development mechanism are defined. An organisational and economic mechanism has been proposed, which provides for management of development of motor transport enterprises and assessment of the strategic direction of functioning, taking into account the defined forms of provision, functioning and optimisation of efficiency of enterprises. The directions of management of development of motor transport enterprise through the stages of development and implementation of the strategy of development of motor transport enterprise have been identified and characterised. There are determined the key strategic directions of development of motor transport enterprises, which contribute to the achievement of stable economic growth and competitiveness, adaptation to changes in the market environment, efficient use of resources and achievement of sustainable development. Novelty. The article proposes the organisational and economic mechanism for the formation of strategic directions for the development of motor transport enterprises, which involves managing the development of motor transport enterprises and assessing the strategic directions of enterprise functioning in order to achieve sustainable development of enterprises in the context of dynamic changes in the external environment, increase the efficiency of management processes, integrate innovations and strengthen the development of the enterprise in the context of ensuring economic security. Practical value consists in creating an effective development management system that allows enterprises to adapt to changing market conditions, improve the quality of service provision and ensure sustainable economic growth. The results of the study can be used by managers of road transport enterprises, local governments and investors to improve the efficiency of the road transport industry. |
