Title:	Global experience in implementing competition policy

Annotation:	Methods. The general scientific approach is the basis for the analysis of the prerequisites and patterns of the formation and development of competition policy in a number of countries around the world. The dialectical approach allowed us to identify modern trends in the field of competition policy and reveal the dominant directions of its implementation. The method of analysis allowed us to study the structural features and functions of competition agencies of different countries in the context of studying their institutional capacity. The definition of organizational principles for stimulating competition in the markets was carried out by clarifying the possible prospects for their use in Ukrainian conditions based on the use of the method of comparisons, as well as a combination of logical-historical method. Results. An analysis of the world experience in implementing competition policy was conducted. A comparative analysis of models of implementing competition policy in a number of countries, in particular the USA, Germany, Japan and Ukraine, was carried out. The types of violations that were identified in the process of implementing competition policy were systematized. The main determinants of the impact of competition policy on national economic development were identified. The strategic directions of forming and implementing competition policy in the context of the postwar recovery of the Ukrainian economy were substantiated, taking into account foreign experience. Novelty. Based on a comparative analysis of the practice of implementing competition policy by national agencies of a number of countries, the dominant directions of its implementation were identified. Violations of the legislation on the protection of economic competition, which were identified by the competition agencies of the countries, were systematized. Directions for adapting the world experience of competition policy to Ukrainian realities were substantiated. Practical value. The results of the study can be used by national agencies in the process of implementing competition policy.
