Title:Synergy of creativity and adaptation of enterprises in conditions of uncertainty

Annotation:Methods. The results were obtained through the use of the following methods: logical analysis – during the construction of a chain of transformations of forms of thinking into creative solutions and ensuring the behavioral flexibility of enterprises; scientific abstraction – to determine the content of the concept of «resilience of personnel», as well as to highlight its characteristic features in relation to a certain enterprise; general and specific methods – to identify similar and distinctive features of lateral, divergent and creative thinking of the staff; generalization – to determine personnel management vectors of Metinvest Group enterprises; quantitative analysis – when studying indicators of the performance dynamics of Metinvest Group enterprises, as well as indicators characterizing the development of its personnel. Results. The study demonstrates that globalization, technological development, political instability and political crises cause unpredictable consequences for business operations, creating conditions of constant uncertainty and variability. Traditional management approaches are often ineffective because they do not provide enough flexibility to respond to challenges. The meaning of the concept of «resilience of personnel» and its significance in the event of challenges and threats to the enterprise's activity are revealed. The main features of staff resilience are characterized. Similar and distinctive features of lateral, divergent and creative thinking of personnel are considered. The existence of synergy of creativity and adaptation in conditions of uncertainty has been proven. Novelty. The essence of the concept of «creativity» is revealed. Based on the chain of transformations of forms of thinking into creative solutions and ensuring the behavioral flexibility of enterprises, the connection between creativity and adaptation is established. Its significance for preserving and further strengthening the competitive positions of enterprises is proved. Practical value. The results of the study, which prove the existence of synergy between creativity and adaptation of enterprises in conditions of dynamic changes, highlight the importance of personnel management policy, indicate the need for investment and organization of lifelong learning. Understanding the existence of such a relationship will allow enterprises to implement a more effective policy in the field of personnel management and thus achieve better adaptive capabilities and higher level of competitiveness.
