| Annotation: | Methods. The study is driven by Ukraine’s role in the global grain market and its impact on global food security. The war and related logistical constraints, including the blockade of seaports and changes in export routes, have created significant risks to the stability of grain supplies to the EU, African, and Middle Eastern countries. Examining Ukraine’s role as a supplier of strategically important grain makes it possible to assess its influence on global markets, forecast logistical and economic consequences, and identify development prospects for the agricultural sector. The methodological framework of the study is based on systemic and geoeconomic approaches, which allow the Ukrainian grain market to be viewed as an integral component of the global food system and an element of international economic relations. An interdisciplinary approach is applied, combining the analytical tools of international economics, agricultural economics, logistics, and food security studies. Results. The results of the study indicate that Ukraine remains a key grain exporter to global markets, while the war and logistical constraints have led to shifts in export routes, increased importance of land corridors, and the emergence of new logistical solutions. Ukrainian grain has been identified as critically important for the food security of African, Middle Eastern, and EU countries, while exporters’ adaptation to wartime and economic risks creates new strategic opportunities for Ukraine’s integration into global markets. Novelty. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the following aspects: the Ukrainian grain market is examined in a geoeconomic dimension as a factor in stabilizing global food security under conditions of wartime and logistical shocks; the transformation of Ukraine’s role in the global grain market from a traditional exporter to a strategic geoeconomic partner for the EU, African, and Middle Eastern countries is substantiated; key changes in the logistical architecture of grain exports are identified, particularly the growing importance of land-based and alternative supply routes; new strategic opportunities for Ukraine’s integration into global agri-food chains arising from the adaptation of the grain market to wartime and economic risks are determined. Practical value. The practical significance of the research results lies in the possibility of applying the findings by public authorities, relevant ministries, agricultural companies, and logistics operators in developing strategies for grain export development, optimizing logistical routes, and enhancing the resilience of Ukraine’s agricultural sector in the face of global challenges. The findings confirm that Ukraine remains a critically important grain exporter to global markets. Military actions and logistical constraints have resulted in changes to export routes, an increased role of land corridors, and the implementation of new logistical solutions. Ukrainian grain ensures food security for African, Middle Eastern, and EU countries, while market adaptation creates strategic opportunities for Ukraine’s integration into global markets. |
