| Title: | Corporate education in Ukraine: trends, challenges and prospects |
| Author: | Alieksieienko I. A., Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology |
| Annotation: | Methods. The methodological basis of the research is a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach that combines the provisions of the theory of human capital, the concept of continuing education, the theory of personnel management and strategic management. A combination of general scientific and special research methods was used, namely, analysis and synthesis of scientific literature to generalize scientific approaches to interpreting the concept of «corporate education» and determining its key features; structural-functional method – to identify the main models of corporate education and clarify their functional purpose in the personnel management system; comparative analysis – to compare different formats of corporate educational spaces; content analysis of official sources – to study the activities of leading corporate education institutions in Ukraine; a systemic approach – to consider corporate education as a holistic socio-economic phenomenon that functions in the interaction of «business – employee – state». Results. It has been established that corporate education in Ukraine has transformed from a tool for in-house training into a strategic mechanism for forming human capital and ensuring business personnel security. It was found that modern corporate educational models are focused not only on improving the skills of employees, but also on developing managerial, digital, and leadership competencies necessary in an unstable labor market and military challenges. The study allowed us to identify four main models of corporate education in Ukraine: corporate universities, professional skills academies, internal training centers, and partnership programs with higher education institutions. Corporate education provides a number of strategic results for business: reducing costs for personnel adaptation, increasing labor productivity, rapid implementation of innovations, and forming corporate culture and employee loyalty. For employees, it creates opportunities for professional growth, retraining, and obtaining new specialties. The risk of excessive narrow specialization of corporate education, which may reduce the fundamental component of training, has been identified. This highlights the need to develop partnerships between business and classical universities to ensure a balance between practical orientation and academic quality. Novelty lies in the comprehensive understanding of corporate education as a strategic tool for the formation of human capital in Ukraine in the context of military and socio-economic transformations. Practical value. The results of the study can be used to improve the corporate education system in Ukraine, taking into account modern socio-economic and military challenges. The practical recommendations formulated in the work contribute to increasing the efficiency of personnel training and retraining, reducing business costs for personnel adaptation, developing the “education - business – state” partnership, and strengthening the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises in the national and international markets. The results obtained can be implemented in the activities of corporate educational structures in various industries (industry, IT, energy, logistics, construction) and used in the development of human capital development strategies for enterprises. |
