| Annotation: | Methods. The results were obtained through the application of the following methods: theoretical generalization and systematization – to define the essence of the category «digital technology transfer»; comparative analysis – to examine the features of digital technology transfer in the EU countries and Ukraine; statistical analysis – to assess the level of digital transformation, infrastructure development, and innovation activity; graphical and tabular methods – to visualize the research findings; and a systems approach – to analyze the relationship between digitalization and sustainable development. Results. It has been established that digital technology transfer is a multidimensional process encompassing the transfer of knowledge, innovations, digital solutions, and institutional mechanisms within the global economic space. It is shown that in EU countries this process is characterized by a high level of institutional support, financing, and integration into sustainable development policies. It has been determined that in Ukraine digital technology transfer has a dynamic yet asymmetric nature, combining the active development of public digital services with the presence of significant barriers, including financial, institutional, technological, and human resource constraints. It is substantiated that digital technologies can act as an important driver of sustainable development while simultaneously creating new environmental challenges related to increased energy consumption and environmental pressure. Novelty. The study provides a comprehensive integration of the analysis of digital technology transfer with the concept of sustainable development and offers a comparative assessment of practices, barriers, and opportunities in EU countries and Ukraine, taking into account the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of digital transformation. Practical value. The study formulates recommendations aimed at enhancing the efficiency of digital technology transfer in Ukraine, in particular through the development of digital infrastructure, improvement of the regulatory framework, stimulation of investments in digital and green innovations, training of qualified personnel, and integration into the European digital space. |
