Annotation:	The technological necessity and economic efficiency of fixed assets modernization at the steelmaking enterprises of Ukraine is considered. The optimization of mixing metal method in steelteeming ladles is studied on the example of PJSC «ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih». Cost-effectiveness of modernization based on introducing the second argon plug is proved.
